About Brooke

“I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become.”

Carl Jung

I love what I do, but admittedly, I did not always know that I would have a career as a mental health professional. After spending just under 10 years in graphic design and marketing I realized that what brought me to work each day was not the campaigns or designs that I created, but the connections that I was lucky enough to build with others along the way. Recognizing my desire to connect with others gave me the courage to take a leap of faith and landed me in the counseling role that I find myself in today.

I hope to sit with each of my clients with a posture of humility, knowing that I too have chances to learn from others and continually evaluate ways that I can show up in a more informed and empathetic way. I am committed to seeking evidence-based resources to better equip clients to face challenges with confidence and truly believe in the resilience that others possess.

I am comfortable sitting with clients experiencing the effects of childhood trauma, anxiety, life transitions, faith deconstruction, and women’s issues. In the counseling room, clients can expect to learn to connect with their bodies, examine unexplored parts of their life, and claim their resiliency and self-worth.

As a clinical mental health counseling graduate of Denver Seminary, I am equipped to offer counseling around Christian issues; however, this will only be integrated upon request. I love to see clients in of all walks of life.
